Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

Increasing awareness of the Environment and the effects of carbon emissions and depleting energy sources has led to the increase of more efficient and renewable energy solutions throughout the world.

Homes use a large amount of the energy created for their heating and hot water and in the UK much of this still uses depleting and non-renewable energy sources for gas boiler systems and all-electric heating systems.

Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps use the free renewable and completely sustainable energy from the air and earth as the main energy source. The benefits of this are huge for the environment as the energy is completely sustainable in the long term and also the units generate far less carbon emissions than traditional heating systems.

Additionally, using the most up to date technology the units achieve the highest energy efficiency levels. Heat Pumps are electrically powered appliances consisting of a compressor and two carefully matched heat exchangers. The Coefficient of Performance for HeatKing units is up to 4 (the COP is the measurement of the energy output compared with the energy input). This means that the output heat energy can be up to 4 times the electrical input power from the unit, something not possible with other methods of heating.
