HeatKing's First Air Source Heat Pump Installed in France

Posted: Sep 06, 2011

Exaclim’s first client for their new franchise of products was a prominent architect who lived local to Exaclim’s Head Office in Nantes.

Exaclim are held in such high regard by their clients that many, as in this case, simply trust Exaclim to select and supply the right product for the application.

The house in question was built in 1954 and was heated by an oil fired boiler with cast iron radiators for heat emitters.

With improved insulation levels the radiators had effectively become oversized and were therefore able to be used in conjunction with the new BWarm Air Source Heat Pump to heat the house. Initial calculations suggest, based on current heating oil and electricity costs, that the client should be able to save over 50% in running costs.

Stephane Neuvy, Exaclim’s Managing Director, commented on how pleased they were with the very low sound levels emitted from the BWarm unit and how impressed his engineers had been with the build quality of the product.

“I am sure this is the first of many Heatking units to be installed in France” M. Neuvy added.
